LibrisDesktop

LibrisDesktop is a tool that enables you to import books from your personal computer to your iPhone. It gives you access to your existing collection of books, books you obtain from various sources, and books that require format conversion. The tool is a Java application and requires Sun Java Runtime (JRE) version 1.5 or later. iMac users will have a suitable Java environment by default and can launch LibrisDesktop by selecting it in Finder. Windows users may need to download and install the current JRE from Sun by selecting the 'Get Java' button on this page.

Book files should be in one of the following formats: text, PalmDoc, non-DRM eReader, non-DRM Mobipocket, Libris. Books in other formats need to be converted to one of these formats before importing. More information on using LibrisDesktop can be found here.
